Papamoa FC chair Maaka Nelson had this to say. Its been a really busy time at Papamoa FC as we have had to mitgate substantial growth while investing significant time in building infrastructure and capacity. It's not unfair to say the primary focus has been on the off field with investment and development in new fields, facilities, clubrooms and creating capacity over a range of areas. The club forcasts 935 players for season 2025.
Further focus was invested in achieveing Quality Club Mark and the Xero programme as well as co developing the football club FC Tauranga Moana which was developed to support the development model in the Bay of Plenty. This was acheived in conjunction with Tauranga City.
Between Papamoa FC and FC Tauranga Moana we can proudly say we hold every NZ Football accreditation in the country.
Papamoa is in an extremely strong position, probably stronger than alot in this country. The completion of the back office allows us to now refocus and pivot and turn to performance. We aren't just here to participate anymore.
We look forward to season 2025
