Turning 8-13
Register
Junior football is dedicated to the next level of the footballing pathway.
Research has identified that the golden age of learning & development is between the ages of 8 and 13 years. So with that in mind, we concentrate on providing a Junior Framework that is a consistent and coordinated approach to the development of junior players. Its main aim is to provide all junior players with Football experiences that increase passion for the game. Through the Junior Framework players will experience age appropriate games and coaching. The focus is on fun.
Registration and Season
Registration and Season
Registrations are open until the end of March. Any registrations after this date will be considered if spaces are still available in that relevant grade.
The 2025 season will begin end of April or the start of May. Fixtures will be available once teams have been sorted during April.
MemberShip Fees
Players have 2 options when registering to play. These are A, selecting the full payment option or B, selecting Time payment( players will select the inital time payment fee then our club book keeper will then re occur this invoice in our accounting programme called Xero a further 2 times. Time payment options incur an administration fee.
Teams
The club does its best to try and keep teams together as players age but it must be noted that
* as players age and teams get larger and move on to larger fields being 5 a side, 7 a side, 9 a side and to 11 a side then teams must change.
* some players do not continue and
* new players to the club must be accomodated
* players registering later are harder to accomadate to existing teams as allocation of teams does begin as registrations come through. It is more likely you will have a larger group of previous players in a team if you register early
Equipment/Playing Kit
