FCTM PRE-ACADEMY (U11, U12 & U13 GRADES)

More information on the FC Tauranga Moana website.

Operated by FC Tauranga Moana, teams will be entered into the WaiBOP leagues & train within our NZF Accredited SKC environment. This is the entry point into the FCTM Academy and open to all players turning 11, 12 & 13 in the 2025 calendar year.

FCTM ACADEMY (U14 - U17 GRADES)

More information on the FC Tauranga Moana website.

Operated by FC Tauranga Moana, this programme aligns with NZ Football's development programme standards and is the only NZF accredited Talent Development Programme (TDP) in the Bay of Plenty. Achieving this accreditation is acknowledgement from NZ Football that we have met strict criteria both on and off the field. Our coaches have to achieve qualifications, and we're proud to have the largest pool of qualified coaches in the Bay of Plenty available for our members.

Designed to cater to different phases of development for boys and girls aged between 13-17 years, players will be challenged appropriately by training with and playing against players of similar ability. This helps accelerate player development as players will be required to operate at a standard that involves a higher level of performance across all four corners of player development (technical, physical, psychological and social).

Teams train within our NZF accredited TDP and play in leagues focusing on development. Players within these programmes have significant game day options available and have the opportunity to move across teams in the WaiBOP Federation and NRFL Youth Leagues.

NEW IN 2025 - Auckland FC’s Youth Development Club Partnership

Players in the FCTM Academy will have more opportunities as part of this partnership with Auckland FC. More information on this can be found here.
