Papamoa FC players who are registered within the FC Tauranga Moana SKC (Skill Centre Programme), www.fctm.co.nz/tane/skills-centre will look to be grouped together(should they wish) so that the training received during the SKC sessions can implementated on game days.
Subject to numbers we will look to have separate 9th and 10th grade SKC squads.
If we have insufficent numbers for separate squads, we will make a combined squad of 9th and 10th grade which plays in the 10th grade competition. Squad size will be 10 or 11 players(as the game is 7v7 in this age group)
Without knowing numbers within the SKC programme it is hard to quantify how many teams we will run but team allocation will occur(as priority) on date of registration into the FCTM programme
Selection of these SKC teams will be made immediately after the start of the Skilll Centre programme.

Registration and Season
Registrations are open until the end of March. Any registrations after this date will be considered if spaces are still available in that relevant grade.
The 2024 season will begin end of April or the start of May. Fixtures will be available once teams have been sorted during April.
Equipment
To participate in the junior football, all players must have the following playing gear, which is compulsory.
Parents are responsible for purchasing the full kit. These can be purchased at the same time as registering OR anytime after.

- Shin Pads
