GROUND CLOSURES AND DEVELOPMENTS

As mentioned in the last club newseltter there is plenty of work being completed at GSR. This includes not only field developments but also field maintenance. We receive a significant amount of enquiry on this. Field maintenance is dictated by TCC. Every year fields "go out to seed" as they receive a new helping of grass to see them through the winter months. This can only be completed when summer codes finish resulting in "season overlap".

There is nothing we can do about this, it is just the way it is. In addition with the new field and light alignment we have 3 less fields on the park than normal. There is currently only 1 field at Gordon Spratt available for use as of today. April was always going to be one of significant pain but there is light at the end of the tunnel
