IMPACT OF COUNCIL PROPOSED FEES TO MEMBERS

Your voice is needed. Please read the following and take action as this will impact all members and all community sports clubs.
The 10 year Long Term Plan released by Tauranga City Council will have a major financial impact on everyone participating in community sport.

The proposal response is listed under 7 - Other consultations. You don’t need to complete the other submissions.

The proposed costs from July 2024 are a $52,000 increase in annual fees for our club, based on:

• Facility charges
• New field charges per game
• New field charges for training use.

Without increased funding and sponsorship, membership fees will need to be increase 56%
